A dog owner jumped into swift action after her dog was taken by a coyote.
Brittany Furlan, an actress and internet personality married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, posted on Instagram Tuesday the Ring camera footage of the scary encounter at her California home.
Before the video started, Furlan said she let her dog, Neena, out to relieve herself. In the blink of an eye, the coyote grabbed her in broad daylight.
“Please be careful with your dogs,” Furlan wrote in the post. “I’ve lived here for four years and I’ve never seen one coyote and then today this happened.”

As a mama bear would protect her cub, Furlan fearlessly jumped into action.
“I climbed up the wall and grabbed her out of its mouth,” Furlan wrote. “Thank God she’s a little bit fat because he couldn’t make it over the wall with her. If it was teenie she would’ve been gone.”
In the video you can hear Furan yelling “A coyote grabbed Neena!”
Her husband is then seen in the frame. She tells him “We can’t leave the dogs out!”
“This is in Broad daylight at 1 p.m. (The coyotes) are getting more brazen and hungry,” she wrote. “Please be safe. I’m not even letting the dogs out anymore. This is ridiculous. Hug your babies extra tight.”
Furlan said that Neena is now safe.

Furlan rose to fame on Vine
Furlan was well-known for creating viral videos on Vine, where she was named Viner of the Year at the Streamy Awards in 2014.
Furlan married Lee, the Mötley Crüe heavy metal band drummer, in 2019.
Furlan and Lee both appeared in the camera footage that captured the close encounter.
